Membership Dues Payment Options
We offer three options for paying membership dues:
- 10-month AutoPay through your checking account, with payments made October through July. No dues are deducted in August or September.
- Payment in full by check
- Payment in full by credit card
To Update Your Banking Information or Pay by Credit Card
You can call Teresa Greve or Karen Hunt in the NSEA Membership Department at 402-475-7611, or click on the appropriate link above.
You will then be guided through the process of updating your banking information or making a payment in full by credit card.
Important: If you want to use the 10-month payment plan, do not enter credit card information. The credit card option is for payment in full only. For the 10-month AutoPay plan, you will need to provide your checking account routing number and account number.
You will need your Individual ID and ZIP code to complete the process. If you need your Individual ID, please email membership@nsea.org or call the NSEA Office at 402-475-7611.
The four major categories of membership in the NSEA are:
- Professional Teachers, school administrators, and substitutes with a teaching certificate who work for a public educational institution.
- Education Support Professionals (ESP) Custodians, bus drivers, paraprofessionals, secretaries, cooks, and other support personnel who work for a public educational institution.
- Aspiring Educators (students) who are enrolled in a college program that will qualify them to teach in a public school.
- NSEA-Retired membership shall be open to any NSEA member who has retired and reached the age of forty-five (45) years or more, or an individual who is eligible to receive benefits under a school employee retirement system in Nebraska or another state and who was employed for at least five (5) years in a position that qualified them for Active membership but is no longer so employed.
